Hello and welcome
With summer now in full swing, and school holidays commencing, I am sure that we are all busy enjoying the fine weather and perhaps entertaining grandchildren when called upon to do so. Although we do not hold monthly members meetings during June, July and August, many of our Groups are still operating and offering a range of interesting things to do. This is evident from the Group Reports in the Newsletter this month. If you wish to learn something new or polish up on a skill you already have, please contact any of the groups listed on the Group Contact sheet circulated with the Newsletter.
We are offering a range of excursions for the summer months, all of which are listed in the Newsletter. The Events Team work really hard to organise these excursions which they hope meets a variety of tastes. Several of the excursions listed this month have just been announced so please take a careful look. Occasionally I am told by a member that they do not always know what our U3A is offering. Our Newsletter is one of the ways that we try to communicate with all our members, we even deliver /post the Newsletter to members who do not have an email address. Can I ask that if you know other members, just ask them if they have read the recent Newsletter. Hopefully this will help to spread the word.
