The u3a relies on new groups for its survival.

If you are willing to be the Facilitator, contact the Groups Co-ordinator, who will help and guide you through the initial stages of finding a suitable venue and will advertise your proposed group to the membership.

The national u3a website (www.u3a.org.uk) also has a wide range of useful subject information.

The Group Co-ordinator also keeps Facilitators informed of any changes or new information either through this website or, as is more often the case, by email.  Informal meetings are also held every couple of years which allows Facilitators to meet one another, air their views and voice any concerns.

The role of a Facilitator can be extremely rewarding.
